‘Below Deck’ Camille Says Fraser Encouraged Stews To Drink?

Below Deck alum Camille Lamb had a lot to say about her firing. She accused chief stew Fraser Olender of encouraging his stews to drink on the job. At the end of Monday’s episode of the Bravo series, Camille drank before the upcoming charter. She stole a bottle of champagne that was meant for charter guests only.

That wasn’t the only problem. Camille was drinking on the job. The rest of the crew was getting ready for the next charter guests. Meanwhile, Camille was drinking non-stop in her cabin and twerking. Once Fraser caught wind of what Camille was doing, he was concerned. He brought up the issue with Captain Sandy Yawn the following day.

Below Deck Med star Captain Sandy Yawn is filling in for Captain Lee Rosbach for much of the season. She’s making sure the crew is on the same team, sort of speak. When Fraser met with Captain Sandy, she admitted that she was tired of hearing about Camille. Both Fraser and Alissa Humber have brought up their issues with Camille on more than one occasion.

She didn’t take her job as a stew and deckhand seriously. Camille has also drunk on the job on more than one occasion. The Below Deck newbie also had an attitude problem with both the exterior and interior teams. She’s gone up against Alissa for much of the season.

Captain Sandy took note of these issues. She thought Camille ran out of chances. Captain Sandy brought Camille up to the bridge to let her go. Camille looked shocked despite the issues with her behavior this season. She responded: “Oh my God, noooo!” as Captain Sandy shook her head. The scene cut to black and then showed a faraway shot of the yacht with the “To be continued…” sign.

Below Deck alum shares her side of the story

Camille Lamb spoke out about her firing on the show. She took to her Instagram Stories to post a long statement. The Below Deck Season 10 cast member claims that she’s taking accountability for her actions. However, she also wants to change the “narrative” about her boozing on the yacht.

Camille blamed Fraser for encouraging drinking on the job. She noted that he was the one who allowed the stews to have “champagne time” after they did their work. The Below Deck troublemaker thought she could use the champagne that’s often reserved for guests. She mentioned a time when Fraser encouraged them to have some after a tip meeting.

“Fraser said when we finish our jobs ‘champagne time’ he said we could drink,” Camille explained. “So I open the champagne I saw Fraser use for tip meetings. Since he used it for us to drink I thought that was the one we used.”

However, the Below Deck crew members can’t drink during charters. They’re only allowed to drink during the crew outings. Crew members are also not allowed to use the alcohol meant for charter guests. They can only use the alcohol that’s in the crew mess.
