How Shawne Merriman things this will affect the Buffalo Bills
The entire Buffalo Bills team watched as Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field, was resuscitated, and then was transported via ambulance to the hospital. As TvShowsAce previously reported, many of his teammates had to turn their backs on what was happening on the field because it was too hard to watch. Can they continue to play without him?

Damar Hamlin injury should be an eye-opener for fans too
Shawne DeAndre Merriman tells TMZ Sports he doesn’t believe this moment is just an eye-opener for players. He believes this moment will also serve to remind fans watching the game at home or in the stands that the players are just regular people.
“I think also it brought a human side. A lot of these players really get looked at as superhuman. This is a human on the ground that could possibly be fighting for his life.”
Now, the former linebacker doesn’t believe this is a moment that is going to cause major changes to the game. He, however, does believe this will go down in the books as something people will remember.
