Shocking NFL news — the game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night has been suspected until further notice after Buffalo Bills’ safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field. Those watching the game at home (or in the stands) recall watching Damar tackling someone and standing up before collapsing on the field.

Buffalo Bills’ safety Damar Hamlin was removed from the field via ambulance and transported to a nearby hospital after receiving treatment on the field for more than 10 minutes. The hearts of those watching this NFL game crumbled as players, coaches, and commentators in the studio became overwhelmed with emotions.

According to EPSN, CPR was administered to the Buffalo Bills’ safety on the field for several minutes following his collapse after a play during the first quarter. The outlet notes that Damar Hamlin appeared to be receiving oxygen as he was transported off of the field and into an ambulance.

Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field shortly after wide receiver Tee Higgins. Hamlin reportedly got up quickly after the tackle before collapsing on the field. After collapsing, several athletic rushed onto the field to help him. A stretcher was rushed to the field as the trainers worked to protect his head.

As Damar Hamlin received care on the field, he was surrounded by the entire Bills’ sidelines. Multiple members of the team crumbled emotionally as they leaned on each other for comfort. Many members of his team had to turn as they couldn’t handle seeing their teammates in this condition.

The first attempt to move Damar Hamlin from the field was unsuccessful. He, however, was placed in an ambulance.

While there hasn’t been an official word, the equipment staff has been spotted cleaning up the equipment. So, most assume the game will be canceled.

Damar Hamlin’s mother was at the game watching her son play. She did travel to the hospital with him.
