Where does he stand with Captain Lee Rosbach?
Eddie Lucas left Below Deck after Season 9. Ross McHarg is the new boatswain in the tenth season. Earlier this year, Eddie confirmed that he wasn’t returning to the Bravo series. He shared that the show didn’t ask him back for another season.
Eddie also slammed the franchise for its unfair wages. Fans are curious to know if he’s still on good terms with Captain Lee Rosbach. The two made an appearance at a fan event in Connecticut on October 1. The two are still good friends.
Below Deck Mediterranean alum Colin Macy-O’Toole moderated the Q&A panel, which was held at The Palace Stamford. Captain Lee shared a shot from the event on Instagram. He also reflected on his reunion with Eddie.
“What a great night, thank you to all the fans who came out to see [Eddie Lucas], [Colin Macy-O’Toole], and [me],” Captain Lee captioned a series of pictures. “The meet and greet was full of laughter and memorable moments.”
At the event, Captain Lee shared his opinion of Eddie. The two have established a father-and-son bond over the years. During the Season 8 finale of Below Deck, Captain Lee gave Eddie new epaulets that featured three stripes. Eddie was promoted to the role of the first officer after earning his 1600-ton license.
At the Below Deck After Show, Eddie shared that that moment “choked me up a little bit.” Captain Lee said it was an easy decision. He feels that Eddie “earned his stripes” and grew up over the years. Their bond is still strong after all these years.
