Robin Roberts No-Show Amid ‘GMA’ Drama
Robin Roberts has gone missing from Good Morning America once again. This comes amid the drama that took place on the set of the morning show. Fans begged her to get involved with TJ Holmes and Amy Robach’s alleged affair.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, fans wanted Robin to exert her power over Amy. They feel that she should be the one to oust both of the co-hosts. However, she has been absent from the daytime talk show. A week ago, she announced that she was taking a break and won’t return until the New Year.
Good Morning America scandal
TJ Holmes and Amy Robach were outed for their alleged six-month affair. According to The Daily Mail, they went on a string of dates in New York City. They even went on an upstate weekend getaway. The outlet included numerous photos and videos of their alleged encounters.
TJ and Amy looked cozy and flirtatious, even though they were still legally married to other people. Fans demanded the cast of GMA to focus on the scandal happening at their workplace. They previously wanted George Stephanopoulos to do a sit-down interview with TJ and Amy.
Meanwhile, they asked Robin Roberts to do her job. They want her to do “something” about her co-hosts. The television personality had dinner with Lara Spencer before her break from the show. She shared the photo on Instagram earlier this month.
Robin and her partner Amber Laign had a double date with Lara and her husband Rick. She captioned the shot: “Such a fun Saturday night with the fab Lara Spencer & her handsome hubby Rick!” Some of the GMA fans took to the comment section to urge her to “do something about Amy and TJ.”
Others applauded Robin Roberts for “keeping it classy” amid the scandal. They appreciate seeing some of the co-hosts being faithful and committed. However, some fans wanted “the scoop with Amy and TJ.” They know that Robin used to be close to Amy.
Robin Roberts still absent
On Monday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, Robin Roberts was a no-show once again. ABC News launched an internal review into the alleged affair. It’s ongoing and may not conclude until after the holiday season. Robin didn’t appear on the live broadcast, and neither did her fellow co-hosts, Michael Strahan and George.
Gio Benitez, Janai Norman, and Mary Bruce sat at the main desk. Robin last appeared on GMA on December 15. She announced on Instagram that she won’t be sharing her daily message until next year. She was previously replaced by Cecilia Vega.

At the time, Robin Roberts announced that she was taking an extended break for the holiday season. Some fans think it has to do with the scandal that’s disrupting the talk show. There has been a shakeup with the panel of hosts in recent weeks. Reports claim that Robin is “furious” about the affair and aired her grievances to the executives.
What are your thoughts? Do you think Robin Roberts is a no-show because of the GMA scandal? Or, do you think it’s because of the holiday? Sound off below in the comment section.

The issue of TJ and Amy is not a concern of mine. There are two many opinions. Over the last two years GMA has been saturated with scandalous subjects. Additionally, real or perceived, it looks like the program is falling apart. Robin, Michael and George are the main stay of GMA.
As they are frequently not at work, it gives the appearance that ABC now has a part time help option for the desk. That draws attention from the shows intended airing. We look forward to their each and individual knowledgeable backgrounds. Yes I understand that they are given assignments and will have days of absence, but that is not what the tribal drum beat says is, the complete issue. One foot in the row boat and one foot on the dock, will not provide a happy ending.
I hope there is some resolution I have been n ABC Viewer since mid 1960’s. What is going on is not normal for ABC
