That’s So Raven alum Orlando Brown’s recent arrest has cost him a movie role. The 35-year-old was taken into police custody on Thursday at 10:29 a.m. in Lima, Ohio, under alleged domestic violence charges. However, his arrest affected his future role in the movie. Actor Orlando Brown Smiles For His Mug Shot
As detailed by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office records, the actor faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. The former child star, who was being held in custody ahead of his court appearance, smiled for his mug shot. Partially exposed above his black shirt’s neckline was a tattoo of Raven-Symoné, who played Raven Baxter in the Disney series. Brown played Eddie Thomas on the show that aired from 2003 to 2007.

As reported by TMZ, the Lima Police Department officers responded to a call involving Orlando’s brother who reported a fight in progress. The actor was staying at his brother, Matthew’s house given his current homeless status. His sibling allegedly informed police that Orlando became crazy and accused him of raping his wife. The former Disney actor came at him with a broken knife blade and a hammer. However, he was unable to strike his sibling and eventually laid down his weapons. 911 immediately responded to the call.
Orlando Has Been Working With Matthew Since November
The alleged victim, Matthew Sanders wanted to cast Brown in his upcoming movie titled Up The Score, which he is producing and directing. He wished for the Disney actor to be a part of it. Additionally, he considered Orlando his friend and an extremely talented individual.

Although OB has had legal issues for quite a long time, Matthew shared that Brown had been living at his Ohio home since November for the movie’s preproduction stage. Moreover, up until Thursday’s incident, the duo had no major issues ailing their friendship or work relationship.
Orlando Brown Appeared On Dr. Phil Show In 2018
The rapper/singer has had several troubles through the years including addiction, arrests, homelessness, and mental health struggles. Back in 2014, a woman informed police that he had threatened to kill her and her daughter. In 2016, he was taken into custody after an argument with his girlfriend. Furthermore, he was also charged with meth possession and domestic battery.

Later in 2018, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Las Vegas. Yet, he was again arrested for drug possession and breaking into his friend’s restaurant causing a nuisance. Orlando also appeared on Dr. Phil in 2018 and discussed his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction. Additionally, the actor detailed his use of crystal meth.
