His Instagram post came with a trigger warning. Kyle admitted that he has “never been very good at talking about my struggles.” However, he felt that it was important. The former television personality wants to help those who also struggle with their mental health.
Kyle credited his wife Ashleigh Nelson for stepping in and saving his life. He admitted that he also experienced low self-esteem and self-worth during those times. Kyle said he “never felt” like he was “good enough.” He tried to get help but it brought him into a deeper descent.
Chrisley Knows Best alum received a misdiagnosis
Kyle Chrisley received a misdiagnosis for his mental health struggles. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the help he needed. This also caused more issues with his family. Todd Chrisley’s son admits that they went through a tough time.

He still won’t share exactly what happened that day. Yet, he felt like the world “was crashing down around me.” He woke up “on a ventilator” as he was uncertain of his true identity. Kyle credits God for giving him that second chance to live and tell his story.
