He made a gesture as he announced something they “didn’t even know about.” The 49-year-old announced that Janet Jackson will perform live on the talk show. The incident took place during POPStart at the top of the show.

The Voice emcee blocked his ears and stuck out his tongue as soon as he shared the news. Carson pretended to hear something in his ear. That’s when he shared the shocking news with his colleagues.

“We have one quick announcement for tomorrow – icon Janet Jackson will be stopping by the show tomorrow,” Carson Daly said as he made the gesture.
