Kelly Ripa co-hosted Live! with her husband Mark Consuelos. During the opening of Tuesday’s broadcast, Mark shared an encounter he had with hecklers on the streets of New York City. The incident took place the day before. Mark was so worked up over it that he almost slipped during the live broadcast.

The Riverdale actor admitted that he divulged too much during his conversation with the people on the street. They think that he blabbed and spoiled the season finale, which aired on HBO Max on Sunday. The White Lotus Season 2 finale has been on everyone’s minds. They can’t stop talking about it, which can cause spoilers to leak, even on the street.

“I got some strong feedback yesterday for divulging… which I didn’t think I divulged very much…um… the ending of The White Lotus,” Mark told Kelly Ripa.

He admitted that one of the people called him a “d-bag.” He wondered if he could say the full word on the air. One of the producers behind the scenes shot him down. He wagged his finger as he said: “Nuh uh!” Kelly Ripa jumped in and said: “Well, you just did!”

Mark ignored his wife and agreed with the Live! producer. He tried to explain his story without cussing. Kelly wants to know who called him the derogatory name. She joked that the talk show has “followers.” Mark admitted that it was a stranger he passed on the street.

“And I was like, ‘You know what, you know what.’ I said, ‘Everybody dies, the whole cast dies, don’t even watch the rest of the show,'” Mark added.
