During Tuesday’s broadcast of Good Morning America, Michael Strahan wore a navy blue holiday-themed apron with his white button-down shirt and bright blue tie. He was feeling good about himself when he got to bake with the “Internet’s Grandma” known as Babs Costello.

The segment started off wholesome. Michael Strahan joined her for the baking segment. He tried to impress her with his impression of the Cookie Monster. Next, Michael went to the oven and pulled out a tray of pre-baked cookies. He walked back to the counter with them.
“You know what? We got just plain chocolate chip cookies, everybody,” Michael Strahan shared. “And you know why I love chocolate chip cookies? Just so easy to make, just so delicious, just very simple… just like me everybody.”

Babs was in shock over the former footballer’s humble brag. He claimed that he was “easy” and “delicious.” Michael just compared himself to chocolate chip cookies. He carried on with the segment since she was speechless.
“And look who is here to help us to make them! It’s Babs! Babs Costello! Otherwise known as the Internet’s Grandma,” Michael Strahan continued. “She’s a true social media star, yes you are! With nearly five million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined with a cookbook called Celebrate with Babs.”
The two carried on with the segment. Babs showed Michael how to make a batch of cookies based on her classic recipe from her cookbook. He was joined by fellow co-host Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Lara Spencer. They were there to try some of the good eats.
Makes his return to GMA
Michael Strahan made his big return to Good Morning Show. He missed last Monday’s broadcast after he co-hosted NFL Sunday Nights. The former football player appears on the nighttime show during the season. Fans were upset when Michael, Robin, and George went missing from the early morning show.
In their place were Gio Benitez, Cecilia Vega, and Eva Pilgrim behind the big desk. This came amid the GMA shakeup and scandal involving T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach. The duo is missing from GMA3 amid the affair rumors and the ongoing investigation. Fans would like to see one permanent host on the talk show.
