‘DWTS’ Carrie Ann Inaba Lands In Urgent Care, Is She Ok?

Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba has always been an open book about her health. Fans love that she’s passionate about shining a light on autoimmune diseases and spreading awareness about them.

As of late 2022, the former Fly Girl seems healthier than she has been in a while. And that’s why her emergency trip to urgent care this week really startled her fans. Keep reading to get the inside scoop on the situation and see how Carrie Ann Inaba is doing now.

Carrie Ann Inaba had fans worried when she announced her visit to urgent care

Fans were understandably very concerned when Carrie Ann Inaba announced she was on her way to urgent care. The judge suffers from a myriad of autoimmune diseases and they were worried something was wrong.

Hello! reports that Carrie Ann Inaba voluntarily sought medical treatment. They obtained screenshots from her Instagram page confirming that she was on the way to the hospital. She seems very sore, but will ultimately be all right it seems.

According to the Dancing With The Stars judge, she was building furniture and heard a “pop” inside her torso.

“Lesson learned. My rib cage is not a vice and is not stronger than wood,” she wrote on social media.

Carrie Ann Inaba did suffer an injury and did the right thing by going to urgent care. But the good news is that she is resting at home now.

“Update on my urgent care visit today: Well…. It’s a fractured rib. 😬thanks to the folks at urgent care. I appreciate you. Thanks for getting my X-rays done so quickly,” Carrie Ann updated her fans via an Instagram post.

Many of the judge’s DWTS friends and costars sent her well-wishes in the comments.

So sorry to hear. Take care of urself beautiful Carrie Ann! Sending some healing thoughts ur way,” Season 31 finalist Shangela added. 

Carrie Ann Inaba is definitely a fighter and will be back in great shape before long. But for now, her fans and friends hope she takes time to heal.

Will the former Fly Girl be offered the head judge position?

The judge has already contracted COVID-19 at least once already. She was at a higher risk due to her health concerns but managed to successfully pull through. At this point, Carrie Ann continues to leave her fans in awe of her strength and resilience.

Now that head judge Len Goodman has retired, some fans speculate that the DWTS exec team will offer the head position to Carrie Ann. So far, she expects to return to the show next fall. But for now, fans will have to wait and see.
