Layla is growing up quickly. It looks like she’s a bright little girl, especially since she figured out how to get into Carlin’s phone and take selfies on Monday. She will celebrate her third birthday on Jan. 31, 2023. So, her big day is right around the corner.
Thanks to social media, fans get to watch Layla and her little brother, Zade Patrick, grow up. On Instagram this week, Carlin Bates treated fans to her daughter’s sweet selfies.

On her Instagram Stories on Monday evening, Carlin shared a screenshot of her iPhone camera roll, revealing that her little girl had taken many selfies throughout the day.
Carlin captioned the post: “Layla cam. Finding lots of cute [selfies] on my way home from work.”

If you didn’t know, Carlin and her husband, Evan run the Bates Sisters Boutique with her brother, Zach, and his wife, Whitney. Because they own the business themselves, Carlin and Evan are able to bring Layla and Zade with them to work. Sometimes, Zach and Whitney’s kids spend time there too. It looks like one way Carlin keeps Layla occupied at work is by letting her take pictures on her phone.

After sharing Layla’s selfies with fans, Carlin shared another screenshot and revealed how many photos and videos she has on her phone. It’s unclear how many of these snaps were taken by Layla, but there’s a chance this isn’t the first time that the almost-three-year-old has done this.
In her post, Carlin admitted that she has over 71,000 photos on her phone. She also has more than 15,000 videos. She is often posting photos and videos on Instagram. It’s possible some of these pictures are work-related as well.
