Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fans have been ecstatic at the return of their favorite show airing new episodes on Netflix. It is undoubtedly one of the platform’s biggest anime shows and brings along with it one of the most rabid fanbases in anime. Stone Ocean has been an incredibly interesting season of the long-running show. The season is split into parts that air after long hiatuses in between has been the cause of turmoil among viewers. But the finale for Part 3 of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean finally hit Netflix just the other day. Jojo fans are not letting it go without making it known to the world. This finale is getting some of the biggest ratings in the history of the show.
Jolyne’s Finale
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean hit number 8 in the Netflix global non-English TV category. The show was in the top 10 in dozens of countries across the world. It is reported that Part 3 in total already has 8,770,000 hours watched. This continues to prove why Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the biggest anime on Netflix. Even with little promotion, the show’s fanbase is so dedicated that they’ll push the finale of the season up to one of the highest-rated shows on the platform.
It’s sad that the Jolyne Cujoh story is over after years of fans patiently waiting for each new part of the season. But great that the ratings of the season are going out on such a high. Even greater is that we can now all start looking forward to the next Jojo main character in the next arc of the series.
The Next Part Of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
A big question on everyone’s mind as of the end of Stone Ocean is this: When will we get to the next part of the adventure? For anyone unaware, the next season of the show will be based on completely different characters at a completely different time. The next season will be based on the Steel Ball Run arc of the manga, following Johnny Joestar.
It used to be that there was only a one-year wait time between seasons of the show. More recently that time has expanded as the runtime of seasons has also expanded. This makes sense if you follow the manga. Each arc has gotten gradually longer, with the first arc only having 5 volumes and the most recent ending with 27. So Steel Ball Run is longer than Stone Ocean and will likely spend more time in production as a result.
Don’t expect the season to hit Netflix before 2024.
Every episode of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is now available on Netflix. As well as every previous season of the show.
