Savannah Guthrie has nothing but love for her colleague Al Roker. The TV personality melted The Today Show fans’ hearts into a giant puddle as she reacted to the BIG news he and his wife shared on their Instagram post yesterday evening. What was the big news? After a few pretty somber Instagram posts about dreary weather and saggy souls, Al was finally getting to leave the hospital and go home with his family. Glowing with a huge smile on his face, Al had his wife Deborah on one side of him and his daughter on the other as he headed back home.

In response to his post, many fans noted they were happy he was finally back where he belonged. Moreover, fans continued to send well wishes for a speedy recovery so he could get back to doing the things he loved. While most fans agreed nothing was more important than his health, they really missed seeing him on their televisions.

Savannah Guthrie was pretty quick to pop into the comments of the exciting update on Instagram. She was thrilled to learn Al Roker was going home and agreed that was definitely where he belonged. Savannah also gushed about how cute the entire Roker family was. Nearly 500 people reacted to Savannah’s comment on Al’s post. One individual even responded to it noting that they absolutely adored the support she had for her co-worker.

Her excitement and support of her colleague, however, didn’t stop there. She also re-tweeted his big news on Twitter and exclaimed “YES!” with tons of exclamation marks.
