Elizabeth Hurley is back with a new Christmas movie and she’s promoting it in a bikini. If you’re wondering what swimwear has to do with the winter holidays, the film takes place in a tropical beach setting. With a title like Christmas in the Caribbean, the Philippe Martinez-directed rom-com seems to give away the plot — but there’s a twist. In it, Hurley plays a bride left at the altar who takes her besties on her would-be honeymoon, and there’s plenty of swimsuit action to go around!

The 57-year-old beauty gave fans a peek behind the scenes in an Instagram reel on December 7 and flashed her curves in a teal bikini. Defying her age in a string two-piece with chain details, she frolicked in an infinity pool. Bonus shots showed her getting ready for shooting, with one image capturing a wet-haired Hurley getting out of the water. Scroll to take a look!

Elizabeth Hurley Struts Her Stuff In A Plunging Bikini

Nobody wears a bikini like Elizabeth Hurley. That’s a fact, period. The Royals star titillated fans with a plunging number in her latest Instagram update and scored over 146,500 likes for the share. Rocking a triangle halterneck style similar to the sexy designs in her eponymous swimwear line, she flaunted her abs and turned around for a cheeky rear view. All this while her stylist was putting the finishing touches on her hair and tan.

The British actress smiled from ear to ear and showed off her flat tummy in the low-waist swimsuit. Gold chains went around her hips, while a third one highlighted her exposed cleavage. More so, the string bikini came with spaghetti straps that tied around her neck and back. Furthermore, the set perfectly showcased her fit figure, making for a seriously busty look.

Fans Are Excited For Christmas in the Caribbean

Another scene captured the Bedazzled star chilling in the pool with a drink in hand. She talked to the camera crew and took a long sip through a straw, all while showcasing her curvy bust.

It seems the actress was in there for a good while because later in the reel she could be seen emerging from the pool assisted by two men. “You can’t get out the goddamn pool by yourself darling how much did you have to drink?” makeover expert Trinny Woodall joked in the comments. However, one fan jumped in to explain: “Ha ha it’s either that or being in the pool for 6 hours might make you feel legless but without the alcohol.”

Hurley added the movie poster at the end, which portrayed her snuggling next to Edoardo Costa, who plays her romantic interest in the movie. Just like many of her celebrity friends, Costa sounded off in the comments section and his input was hilarious. “Ciao wow what a fantastic movie […] and what an amazing supporting actor you work with,” he wrote.

The reel was scored to Wham!’s “Last Christmas” hit song to let everyone know they were in for a festive treat. “Can’t wait to watch!!!” chimed in New Girl star Hannah Simone, with fans gushing about Hurley’s ageless beauty that “defies logic.” 

Elizabeth Hurley’s Second Christmas Movie

This is the second Christmas movie that Hurley has done in her entire career and it comes just one year after her first. The actress starred in Martinez’s 2021 Father Christmas Is Back alongside Kelsey Grammer and John Cleese. “Another Christmas movie! Out now in selected theatres,” read her caption.

Christmas in the Caribbean is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. For the movie, Hurley teamed up again with Father Christmas Is Back co-stars Nathalie Cox and Caroline Quentin to bring to life the girls’ trip of three mature women, which Hurley says “it’s real life.”

“It’s not three young girls panting to meet Mr. Right. It’s different,” she told PEOPLE last month.

She added: “I think it gives hope and heart to people who are a little more mature but still want a happy ending.”

The Netflix star is a huge fan of Christmas and seems to have found her niche. Moreover, the actress said she loved working on the movie.

“I’m not saying I’m going to make a career of doing Christmas movies, but the two I’ve done, I really liked.”
