Bear Brown Shares Heartfelt Sad Message
Bear Brown has gone through one of the toughest situations of his life this past week. When he realized his dad’s birthday had arrived, it looks like it made the Alaskan Bush People star really access his life.
Bear posted a sad message about his dad’s passing and what it means for him right now in life.
Bear Brown posts message about Billy Brown
Billy Brown passed away last year at the age of 68 after suffering a seizure. His death played out on Alaskan Bush People last season. That means that this season saw his kids and widow Ami moving on without him. This includes Bear, who spent the season moving his wife Raiven and son River up the mountain with promises to build them a house.
On the day of Billy’s 70th birthday, Bear posted four photos of his dad and a fifth photo with the words “I Love You Da” scratched into what looks like stone. He then wrote a long post and dedicated it to his dad.
Bear said that he missed his dad “so much” and that he wished “he could still be here with us.” He also said the pain of the loss has not gotten easier as it closes in on two years. “Not a single day goes by that I don’t think about him,” Bear wrote. He then got a little personal and said he wished he was more like his dad, “so strong, so smart, so caring.”
“I will forever miss you Da! I love you and hope that you are proud of me! I’m trying my hardest to be the best I can and live up to your example!” Bear wrote. He finished with the comment that the world is not so bright without Billy Brown in it.
Bear Brown separated from wife before Alaskan Bush People finale
The Alaskan Bush People finale came across as very awkward for people who follow Bear Brown and his life outside the show. In that finale, Bear was talking big about building the dream home his wife wanted up on the mountain. The narrator also ended the show by saying that the future was bright when talking about Bear getting this house up.
However, right before the finale aired, Raiven posted on her Instagram Stories that she and Bear separated and she took River with her. This came after the show ignored Bear’s domestic abuse arrest from earlier in 2022, and no one knows what led to this final split. Bear wrote he wished he could be more like his dad, and he might wish he had Billy there to talk to him right now.
