Known for his ability to blend traditional honky-tonk and mainstream country pop, singer and songwriter Alan Jackson has been all over the headlines lately. The biggest headline was a report that country singer Alan Jackson was actually dead.

As fans of this country singer and songwriter know, Alan Jackson, revealed he was living with a condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disorder a little over a year ago. Turns out, the singer was actually diagnosed with the condition about a decade prior to revealing his health to the public. Sadly, there is no cure for this inherited disorder. Alan also shared that his grandmother, father, and oldest sister also inherited the same disorder.

Knowing Alan Jackson suffers from Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disorder, it isn’t too much of a stretch for his fans to believe a report that he was dead. Has he actually passed away? Is this a disorder that could end his life prematurely?

Fortunately, Alan’s daughter Mattie Jackson Selecman has spoken out on reports of her father’s death.

Fortunately, Alan Jackson’s daughter dispelled the rumor that her father was dead. A recent clip of the singer also confirmed he was very much still alive and living “that honky tonk dream.” His daughter explained that it had always been her father’s dream for everyone to be a part of his life.

Account to The Sun, even more recently than the death hoax, Alan Jackson spared concern when he shared a song that fans perceived to have a pretty disturbing message behind it. Many fans took to social media platforms to note that they hoped Alan was alright as he had them deeply concerned for him.

Her are some of the lyrics from the song that had fans freaking out: “Tonight I climbed the wall, and took her by the hand. We’ve come too far to fall, couldn’t stand to see it end. So tonight I climbed the wall.”

The music video attached to the song gave fans extra chills because it was lacking in any color.

Rushing to the comments of the video, many fans noted they were praying for him and hoped he was alright. Others agreed it was a great but tragic song. A few added that as much as they liked the song, the video had them feeling uncomfortable.

Fortunately, fans can rest easy knowing that despite claims of his death, Alan Jackson is not dead.
