Alyssa and her husband John Webster have four daughters, Allie, Lexi, Zoey, and Maci. Earlier this year, they added a puppy named Maci to their family. Now, they have a new baby on the way. Their fifth child and first baby boy will arrive in April.
In the past, fans have expressed concerns about how Alyssa treats her four daughters. Some feel that she gives her youngest kids the most attention because she likes babies better than she likes older children. In her gender reveal video for this baby, Alyssa Bates implied that she would be treating her son differently than she raised her daughters. Fans felt that she was showing favoritism very blatantly.

On Reddit, a fan reposted a photo Alyssa recently shared via her Instagram Stories. The photo features all of their family members’ stockings, including one for the dog. The humans’ stockings are all embroidered with their first initials, but one is blank. It looks like Zoey’s is the one missing a letter. Alyssa previously said she hadn’t found a matching stocking with a Z yet.

In response to Alyssa Bates’ post, fans are expressing their concerns. While a stocking may not seem like a big deal, fans pointed out how it could be potentially harmful to the four-year-old little girl. They think it’s very obvious how Zoey is being left out.
One fan commented, “Personally, I would have just found a different type of stocking so no one was left out. This just comes off as a really sh*tty thing to do.”
Another fan added, “Even the dog has a stocking. So, your dog matters more than your kid.”

One Reddit user can relate and said, “Yeah, my grandparents used to leave my name out of ornaments because they were too hard to find with my popular name … them just picking not to do names would’ve saved some trauma.”
It looks like fans are pretty concerned about Alyssa Bates’ daughter Zoey being left out of having her initial on her stocking. Some are doubtful that Alyssa has looked very hard for a matching stocking because Zoey is four years old now. They think she should have found one by now.
