‘Love Island’ Ekin-Su & Davide Returning To Television

Love Island alums Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti are returning to television. The two met on the ITV2 dating series over the summer. Ekin-Su made a splash with fans. She ended up as the fan-favorite of the show.

Davide Sanclimenti & Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu star in new series

The British reality stars are returning to television in a new show. They will star in a two-part travel series. The Love Island alumni already embarked on a trip to Davide’s native Italy and Ekin-Su’s native Turkey. They became close on both of those trips.

“Yes, filming the show has brought us closer together. We understand each other more and find out about the other person, things, we are basically the same person,” Davide said in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun. “We found out about each other culture and family, we are definitely more close.”

Davide says he plans to propose to Ekin-Su. He has to think of the right place and time to do it. The Love Island UK star wants to propose to her in somewhere romantic like Venice. He admitted that he hasn’t thought of a formal proposal plan yet.

Ekin-Su already knows the perfect place for a proposal. She joked that they should fly on a rocket to Mars. All joking aside, Ekin-Su shared that she loves Davide because he’s “such a romantic” who is “thoughtful and sweet.” He plans little surprises for her everywhere they go.

The couple also took on an eight-hour road trip to Ekin-Su’s family village of Odemis in a campervan. The camera crew will join the Love Island couple for this special series. Since they share a love of travel, this was the perfect opportunity for them. They will get to know more about each other in a confined space.

Love Island UK admits they argue during their travels

Ekin-Su and Davide’s romance may look perfect on social media. However, they admit that they argued during their travels. There was one scene that production cut out of the episode. The Love Island couple assures fans that it was quickly settled and that this argument was a long-time coming.

“Maybe at some points, we had a little bicker where were didn’t want to be filmed but we were like ‘you know what, it’s reality, let them film it,'” Ekin-Su explained. “With us, we’ve not a had a proper argument, we’ve just had stupid arguments — miscommunication things but we resolve it.”
