’90 Day Fiancé’: Is Jenny Slatten A Spinster?
90 Day Fiancé star Jenny Slatten has been doing her best to convince her husband Sumit Singh to move to the United States. However, Sumit doesn’t seem to budge. He wishes to stay in India. However, in the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? episode, she speaks with an immigration officer who thinks Jenny is a spinster. Why does he think so? Keep reading to find out the details!
Jenny Slatten Has To Prove Her Marriage’s Authenticity
In an exclusive teaser of the upcoming Sunday episode shared by People, Jenny will attempt to fast-track the immigration process only to be informed that it isn’t as easy as it seems. On Sunday, Jenny will have her first call with an immigration attorney who reveals that the 30-year age difference with Sumit will be a big hurdle. She and Sumit will have to convince the federal government that their love is real.

The 64-year-old in the confessional admits that she hasn’t yet told Sumit that she has contacted the immigration lawyer. Feeling bad about going behind her husband’s back she said, “I don’t want to scare him by telling him I’m starting this process. Sumit doesn’t even want to consider moving to America, so if he knows that I’m talking to an immigration lawyer, it might upset him.”
Immigration Attorney Asks If Jenny Slatten Is A Spinster
During their video conference, the attorney notifies Jenny that it will take the process at least two years to reach a formal decision regarding Sumit’s visa. Moreover, there is a big chance he could be denied the same. He also tries to establish her marital status for the paperwork and asks, “Are you a spinster in the U.S.?”

Confused by the term, Jenny questions the attorney about what it means. The attorney then explains, “It’s a single woman who never married.”
However, Jenny laughs at the remark, revealing that her divorce happened 20 years ago. Reality begins to set in after Jenny revealed the age difference between Sumit and her. “The major question by the immigration department will be why a lady 64 years old is married to a guy who is only 33, 34 years old,” he noted.
Is Jenny And Sumit’s Long Relationship Proof Of Authenticity?
Although the question of the age gap is usual for Jenny, she hopes the longevity of their relationship will be enough to prove Sumit isn’t a green card-hungry individual. In her confessional, she states that they have been together for 10 years, and their struggle to prove the love just doesn’t seem to end. At first, they had to prove it to Sumit’s parents, and now for the immigration.
