Todd & Julie Chrisley Overlooked Better Guardian For Chloe?
After Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to 12 and seven years behind bars, fans wondered who would become the guardian of Chloe and Grayson. Their daughter Savannah Chrisley revealed on this week’s episode of her podcast that a decision had already been made. If her parents were going to jail, she would gain custody of both Chloe and Grayson.
On both Reddit and Facebook, some fans are questioning if Savannah was really the best choice as Chloe and Grayson’s guardian. In face, one fan admitted it was probably an unpopular opinion. But, they believe Todd and Julie overlooked an obvious choice. A choice that would have made a much better guardian option for Chloe and Grayson.
Which member of the family did this fan think Todd and Julie are overlooking? Do other fans agree that this person should have been in the running? Here’s what fans are saying.
Did Todd and Julie Chrisley overlook a better guardian option?
One fan admitted it was probably an “unpopular opinion,” but they thought there was someone else within the Chrisley family that would do a better job stepping in as the guardian of Chloe and Grayson.
The fan penned in their post: “does anybody besides me think that Lindsay might have been a better choice for guardians? Just because of her mothering experience is where I’m coming from.”
I’ve just been worrying about Savannah’s capability of being the guardian of those two is all… babysitting/watching them is very different from the big life decisions that are going to be coming up for Chloe and Grayson. I assume her custodianship will be in conjunction with Julie in Tallahassee. It’s not like she’s going to Mars and will be unreachable.
Fans have mixed thoughts on Lindsie as their guardian
One fan was pretty quick to point out that there was a huge difference between being a mother and being a good mother. Other fans chimed in to point out that Grayson and Chloe don’t really know Lindsie because she’s been estranged from the family for years. Moreover, Lindsie doesn’t live in Nashville. And, fans assume she may not be able to leave the state with Jackson per a custody agreement with her ex-husband. Likewise, taking custody of two more children could be something her ex-husband Will tries to use against her.
Other fans chimed in to agree with the OP noting that Lindsie made more sense because she did have experience with children.

I feel sorry for the family in whole. Nanny with cancer. And YES WE THINK SUVANNAH will learn fast. She’s not a mother yes, and most likely not be able to have her own children. So PLEASE, don’t beat down on her so fast. She’s smarter then the show makes her out to be.
What the fans say, could, would and possibly be a defining point for her to doubt her abilities. So,be kinda to her.Not only is she loosing her mom and dad, she’s going through Nanny Faye, as now she has decided NOT to continue with her life. so seems like Savannah has more on her plate than most people do at her age. Surely she’s going to be feeling like she made a whole life mistake. So PLEASE let’s everyone reading this, how about cheering for her, but give her the prayers and praise for her commitment to do this. Thank you, Linda C. from Conroe Texas.
Why can’t Julie stay home until Chole graduates high school ? I remember another reality couple that got their sentences staggered. Sad !
I think its so sad I love that show. And come on really Christmas is coming. why not house arrest those kids need them. I know they did wrong but come on now. Give them house arrest thats bad enough. So many other people did the same and are out there .Why not them give them a break
