‘The View’ Sara Haines Calls Out Candace Cameron Bure On-Air?
The View host Sara Haines called out Candace Cameron Bure live on the air. This comes amid the ever-growing backlash against the GAC Family star. Candace was a panelist on the ABC talk show before she starred in numerous Christmas films. She made a carer out of it on the Hallmark Movies Channel.
Candace made the switch to the Great American Country network, in which she has an executive role. Last week, she spoke with The Wall Street Journal about her career move. Candace said the reason why she chose to work with GAC Family is that they promote “traditional marriage.” Sara took the opportunity to call out her former co-host in a recent broadcast.
Sara Haines breaks down in tears
During Monday’s broadcast of The View, moderator Whoopi Goldberg led the panel in a discussion about the mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs. Sara Haines broke down in tears. She expressed her feelings about the incident while calling out the former co-host for her anti-LGBTQ comments. Sara made it clear who she was talking about without mentioning Candace’s name.
“Crazy stuff has been happening since I last saw you all, I mean it’s breaking my heart that we are starting once again with this kind of topic,” Whoopi opened up the conversation. “GLAAD and other activists are pointing fingers at a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric and political policies. This is what rhetoric brings, words matter. This is no put down on prayer but what is going on here?”
Whoopi’s fellow co-hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin agreed with her. They shared their input about the mass shooting and the rise in anti-LGBTQ hate. Sara called out those who have “a self-righteous flag” and “banged it over people’s heads.” She revealed that she also grew up Christian and said these “people weaponize religion” with “self-righteousness.”

This comes after Candace revealed that she loves Great American Family for keeping “traditional marriage at the core.” She received backlash from celebrities and criticism from the LGBTQ community. Sarah was in perfect form and showed class in not name-dropping!
I’ve watched since the show’s first episode and I’ve liked some co-hosts and disliked others. You hosts and all the people behind you are the best! You go Sarah! Keep calling out the hypocritical people that just add to the hate.
