Which Family Members Support Release Of Jinger Vuolo’s Book?
Which Duggar family members have shown their support for the release of Jinger Vuolo’s new book? The former Counting On star announced this week that she’s releasing a new book. Keep reading to find out who appears to be supporting her.
Jinger Vuolo announces her new book.
On Monday, Jinger revealed to fans that she has a new book, Becoming Free Indeed, coming out on January 31, 2023. The Duggar daughter shared a four-minute video on her Instagram page and on YouTube, sharing the news and telling everyone about her memoir.
Jinger admitted, “This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but I think it’s the most important.”
She went on and said, “I’ve written a book. It’s called Becoming Free Indeed, and it is my story. My journey of disentangling faith from fear.”
In her video, Jinger mentioned the IBLP (Institute of Basic Life Principles) and its founder, Bill Gothard. This is her family’s religion and she was raised on these teachings. Now, she’s deconstructed from many of those strict beliefs while maintaining her faith in God.
Due to the nature of her book, fans were interested to see who would show their support. After all, some of her family still appears to be involved in the IBLP.
Which Duggar family members showed support?
A few Duggar family members commented on Jinger’s post to show their support. Amy King, Jinger’s cousin, said that she loves and supports her. She also applauded Jinger for “speaking YOUR truth.”
Then, Jill Dillard commented on Jinger Vuolo’s post and said that she’s proud of her. She added, “Look forward to reading the book!”
Deanna Duggar showed support by saying she is proud of Jinger and that she’s praying for her and Jeremy. Deanna is Amy’s mother, Jim Bob’s sister, and Jinger’s aunt.
In the screenshot below, you can read the full comments that Amy, Deanna, and Jill left. Joy Forsyth didn’t comment on the post, but she did like it. As we reported, Bringing Up Bates stars Esther Bates and Carlin Bates Stewart liked the post.
It’s possible that Jinger Vuolo’s other family members texted her directly about this as well. But of course, that information isn’t public, so it’s unclear how the rest of the family feels about her book.
