Former Counting On star Jinger Vuolo is firing shots at her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She has a lot to say about how she was raised and isn’t holding back. So, what exactly did Jinger say?

As TV Shows Ace reported on Monday, Jinger announced to fans that she’s written a new memoir, which is set to release on January 31, 2023. She released a new YouTube video in which she promotes the book and tells fans what it’s all about.
It’s titled Becoming Free Indeed and details her journey leaving the IBLP (Institute of Basic Life Principles) to her discovering what she truly believes about God.
You may know that Jinger and her 18 siblings grew up with very strict rules regarding modesty, dating, and more. Now, the Duggar daughter has stepped away from many of those guidelines while still maintaining her faith. That’s why fans have seen her wearing pants instead of dresses.
While promoting her new book, Jinger Vuolo appeared to fire shots at her parents.

In her new video, the Duggar daughter said that she has now “rejected much of the teaching I heard for many years.”
She went on to say, “When you grow up in a tight-knit community where everyone believes the same things about everything, it can be hard to even consider the possibility that what you were taught may have been wrong.”
Jinger Vuolo continues, “I wish that the teachers you leaned on when you were younger pointed you to Jesus, but I know that’s not always the case.”
In the video, it sounds like Jinger Vuolo is calling out her family’s strict religious beliefs and her parents’ choice to follow Bill Gothard, the leader of the IBLP. She seems to be pointing out the flaws within the IBLP, which her family has been a part of for years. However, by the end of her video, she promises that it’s not a “tell-all about my family.”
While leaking all of her family’s secrets may not be her goal, it’s easy to see why some fans may interpret it this way.
