Love Island UK alum Andrew Le Page revealed that he’s walking away from it all. He had enough. The 27-year-old wants to live a simpler lifestyle outside the villa. Read on to learn more.
Andrew Le Page announces career shakeup
It’s no secret that most Love Islanders maintain their career in the entertainment industry. Others go on to become models and Instagram influencers. They’ve made a killing through brand partnerships and endorsements. Andrew Le Page doesn’t want to live that kind of lifestyle.
He admitted that he was walking away from the spotlight. In a video that he shared on YouTube, Andrew announced his career shakeup. He looked for love on Love Island UK and found it with Tasha Ghouri. He shared his future plan with his fans and followers.
Andrew feels “no pressure” to take on roles or sponsorships. Prior to appearing on the ITV2 dating series, he worked as a real estate agent. Andrew shared that he’s excited to get back to his former career. During a candid Q&A session on YouTube, one Love Island UK fan wanted to know if he felt pressure with making more money after leaving the villa.
“I think for me, no. I don’t really get a lot of pressure anyway I’m quite a relaxed guy,” Andrew Le Page said. “I went on the show and I know this is probably quite hard to believe for a lot of people, but for me, I genuinely went on the show to find love. It wasn’t a job opportunity or to increase anything.”
The former reality star admitted that he didn’t appear on the show to increase his own net worth. Andrew had the purpose of finding someone to share the rest of his life with. Now, he’s ready to get back to a “normal” life and “real estate job.” He feels that he went on Love Island UK with the right intention.
Love Island UK shares his dream career
Also, in the YouTube video, Andrew revealed his dream career, which is outside of the entertainment industry. The former Love Island UK cast member wants to “follow in the footsteps” of his parents, who worked in property development. He admitted that it’s something he’s working toward. Andrew’s next step “is to learn the UK market.”
His YouTube channel will be changing as well. Andrew will be informing his followers about property management and real estate. He will also share tips for first-time home buyers. This comes after Andrew and Tasha return from their lavish trip to Dubai. He also ditched his former talent company in lieu of his career shakeup.
