‘RHOBH’ Fans Tell Bravo: ‘Put Andy Cohen On Pause’

Andy Cohen is in trouble with RHOBH fans once again. They’re telling Bravo to put him “on pause” indefinitely. Read on to learn more and to see why the Executive Producer is getting so much heat.

What did Andy Cohen do?

During part two of the three-part RHOBH Season 12 reunion, fans noticed when Andy Cohen laughed at Garcelle Beauvais’ new book being thrown in the trash. He asked Erika Jayne if she was the one who threw it in the trash. Lisa Rinna confirmed she was the one who did it. Erika only posted about it on Instagram.

Andy Cohen couldn’t contain his laughter during that segment. Rinna admitted that she was the one who shot the video. She sent it to their co-stars in their “separate” group chat, which Garcelle isn’t part of. Garcelle looked hurt during that time. She tried to hold back tears.

The actress said she heard about the video and said that “everybody was snickering about it.” However, fans couldn’t help but notice Andy Cohen’s expression during that segment. They accused him of laughing along with the ladies. Some of them took to Twitter to call him out for his inappropriate behavior.

• “Do y’all see Andy completely dismisses any opportunity to hold Rinna and Erika accountable? Like I am crazy or does he really not care about showing his preferences?”
• “The fact that @Andy laughed off what Erika and Rinna did instead of holding them accountable was ridiculous.”
• “Andy not holding these ladies’ feet to the fire & it’s annoying af. How we go from Erika & Rinna throwing Garcelle’s book in the trash to ‘do you guys recycle?'”

Other fans are demanding that Bravo put Andy Cohen “on pause” after the season ends. They’re tired of his favoritism among the cast members. Others want someone else to host the reunion shows from now on.

• “I think the best thing that could happen to the Housewives franchises is to put @Andy on pause. The ‘boss’ is showing his favoritism far too often these days.“
• “@Andy Gonna have to put you on pause.”
• “@Andy doesn’t see anything wrong because he sides with the racists. It’s not so disappointing because he sided with Kim when she was racist toward Nene. He needs to be put on pause.”

Is Bravo learning its ways?

Bravo said they’re trying to learn from their old ways. Andy Cohen and Garcelle have discussed the lack of diversity on the Real Housewives shows, aside from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Potomac, and The Real Housewives of Dubai. However, as you can see, these shows feature mostly black cast members together.

At the time of this writing, Andy Cohen hasn’t responded to the backlash. He tweeted his usual “good morning” on Friday, October 21, but he didn’t receive a warm response. On Thursday, Garcelle Beauvais trended on Twitter, as she got support from RHOBH fans.
