DWTS had two exciting episodes this week and now Prom Night has come to a close. One couple did leave at the end of the competition, but another couple completely dominated!

After a routine and a dance marathon, one couple stood out from the competition and earned the title of “King and Queen of the Ballroom.” Who was it?

Dancing With The Stars audience members had an amazing time watching the Season 31 contestants reenact special prom night routines. There were fun numbers from the 90s, early 2000s, and even 2022. Charli D’Amelio experienced her senior prom this past spring.

Everyone performed spectacularly and there were even two perfect scores tonight.

The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy took home the first perfect score of the season with their Tango to “Good Girls Go Bad” by Cobra Starship feat. Leighton Meester. However, Wayne Brady and Witney Carson weren’t far behind them. They also received a perfect score for their Samba to “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock.

Prom Night scores were added to Most Memorable Night scores. After that, the judges added the dance marathon scores into the mix. Based on the scores from both nights and the dance marathon, Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas defended their spot at the top of the leaderboard.

However, the judges crowned the Prom King and Queen solely based on the dance marathon results. They gave those titles to Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten.

No one ever wants to leave Dancing With The Stars, especially after such a fun night. Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev ended up in the bottom along with Joseph Baena and Daniella Karagach. Sadly, Daniella and Joseph left at the end of the night. They had been rapidly improving their scores, but someone has to ultimately leave. Derek, Len, and Bruno voted to save Heidi and Artem while Carrie Ann voted to save Joseph and Daniella. Len Goodman’s vote is the tiebreaker, which meant his vote was the final choice.

The remaining couples are excited to perform on Michael Buble Night

Prom Night may be over, but there’s still plenty of exciting content left in DWTS for fans to enjoy. The remaining couples are going back to the rehearsal room and are working as hard as they possibly can to climb to the top of the leaderboard.

As the judges have said, Dancing With The Stars Season 31 is now halfway over. The competition is really coming down to the wire. Absolutely anyone could still pull ahead.

Next week will be Michael Buble Night and you definitely won’t want to miss out. Singer Michael Buble will perform and guest judge as the top 10 contestants perform to his songs. Derek Hough is also planning an exciting performance, so stay tuned and make sure to catch the episode.
