T.J. Holmes fills in for Michael Strahan

Michael Strahan has been missing from Good Morning America once again. On Monday’s broadcast of the morning show, T.J. Holmes sat in his seat as he joined co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. He didn’t explain why Michael was away again. Instead, the trio discussed the nationwide weather with chief meteorologist Ginger Zee.

She warned viewers that it was about to get cold soon. The current weather in New York has been more warm than usual for this time of year. This past weekend saw warmer-than-usual temperatures. Ginger explained that the jet stream will bring in colder air soon.

Michael Strahan headed to late-night television?

Meanwhile, fans are more concerned about Michael Strahan than the weather. They want to know if he is making his move to late-night television. He hosted FOX NFL Sunday on Sunday, October 16. The football season is keeping the former pro athlete busy since he is also a sports commentator.

That same day, Michael Strahan took to Instagram to share that he was “manifesting” a win for the New York Giants. He was pleased when they won. Even though Michael left the sport a long time ago, he’s still a huge football fan. His fame and platform led him to these other opportunities in sportscasting. As fans know, Michael isn’t the type of person to turn down an opportunity.

Is he leaving Good Morning America?

Michael Strahan isn’t the only one who’s been absent from GMA. His co-hosts Robin and George also took a break from the desk. The previous times that Michael went missing from the show were on Monday, October 10, and Wednesday, October 12. At those times, there was no reason given for his absence from the shows.

Fans have a feeling that he won’t return due to his other ventures. He’s been a very busy man lately. Michael Strahan will continue to host FOX Sports until the football season ends. It doesn’t look like he’s making a permanent move to another network in a different time slot anytime soon.
