‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Gets Trolled After Epic Meltdown

During Tuesday’s episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg became visibly uncomfortable with all of her co-stars before urging the crew to cut to the next scene. Turns out, The View panel was currently partaking in a TikTok trend called “butter board.”

The trend involves eating snacks via a charcuterie board. Instead of having cheese on the board, however, there is a gob of butter. Whoopi Goldberg because disgusted and then frustrated as she watched her co-stars violate prosciutto ham by dipping it in butter.

Whoopi Goldberg shuts segment down, begs to move on

During Tuesday’s episode, the panel tested the waters to see what prosciutto ham tasted like when it was dipped in gobs of butter. Whoopi Goldberg was quick to turn up her nose before making an effort to shut it down.

“You don’t put prosciutto with butter!” Whoopi exclaimed at her co-star Sunny Hostin. Sunny tried to argue with Whoopi. But, Whoopi wasn’t entertaining the thought.

An enraged Whoopi Goldberg fired back trying to shut the conversation down: “No, no, no, you don’t put prosciutto with butter, what the…!”

In defense of Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin admitted she was “pro butter board.” Alyssa jested that when sharing the board what people really needed to worry about was someone double dipping.

The banter continued and a whole slew of unhappy emotions washed over Whoopi Goldberg. The View personality got so upset that she shouted off to the crew asking for an update on the next guest as she was ready to switch to a different segment.

The crew reassured Whoop Goldberg everything was alright and the audience busted out laughing at her reaction.

Viewers trolled Whoopi on social media

On Twitter, viewers were quick to troll Whoopi Goldberg. Viewers admitted it was clear that Whoopi didn’t understand how a charcuterie board was and she was under no obligation to dig the prosciutto in butter simply because there was butter on the board.

One fan trolled: “Whoopi, it’s called a butter board because the butter is on the board. You can put whatever you want on it. It’s just like a charcuterie board. There are no rules as to what goes on it (other than the butter).”

Not everyone came for Whoopi about the butter board, some viewers noted they understood where Whoopi was coming from as all the butter just wasn’t good for people to be consuming.

Nope, I am with Whoopie on this one. Dang all that butter is a heart attack waiting to happen. Just no and the sanitary conditions makes me want to throw up. I am not eating that.
