‘The View’ Ana Navarro Rages As Co-Hosts Dismiss Her

Ana Navarro joined Whoopi Goldberg in expressing her disdain for adding butter to a charcuterie board. The two hosts of The View, however, had wildly different reasons why they took issue with it. For Whoopi, she thought dipping various types of meat into butter was a disgusting and repulsive idea. For Ana Navarro, there was a much bigger issue. Ana argued that charcuterie boards were beautiful things. And, Americans ruined them by adding things like butter where they didn’t belong.

The View: Ana Navarro takes major issue with latest trend

This latest culinary trend involves slathering seasoned butter and other garnishes onto a cutting board that can be used as a spread or dip for cheese, crackers, and bread. On the show, Ana Navarro argues that charcuterie boards are meant for cut-up cheeses and types of meat. She argues there is a massive issue with spreading butter onto a cutting board.

This is absolutely grotesque. It is unhealthy, unhygienic. Cutting boards are porous so you need to put things that don’t seep into the wood because that’s very unhygienic.”

Ana said as she continued on her angry rant: “I don’t understand why Americans take a good thing like a charcuterie board, so pretty, hard cheeses, veggies sliced into dainty things, and they go overboard.”

None of her co-hosts took her stance on the butter boards

Despite what Ana Navarro had to say, none of her co-hosts were interested in taking her side. Most were too busy enjoying how interesting the butter board was. Hostin admitted she wished the butter had a little salt. She also thought some prosciutto would be nice. This was when Whoopi Goldberg became upset because she loathed the idea of dipping prosciutto in butter and said it didn’t belong on a butter board.

Frustrated by the way her co-stars raved over the butter board, Ana continued to express her rage.

Ana added to the conversation still trying to get her point across: “Millions of people have died from COVID and bacteria and viruses and we’re gonna go share a common butter board.”

Trying to shut Ana Navarro’s angry rant down, Haines implied that Ana was being dramatic: “We’re not asking you to blow out candles on it, we’re asking you to scoop it up.”

Is Ana Navarro being dramatic about the butter board or does she have a point? Let us know what you think in the comments down below. And, keep coming back for more on The View.
