‘The Voice’ Fans Meltdown, Threaten End Of Show?

Coaches announced for Season 23
NBC went cut to the chase and announced the coaches for Season 23 of The Voice. Fans can rejoice because Kelly Clarkson is making her big return alongside Blake Shelton. They will be joined by two new coaches — Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper.
The Voice took to its official social media accounts to share the news. They featured the names of the coaches for Season 23 with the caption: “See you in 2023…” This is a big deal for the show since it’s kicking off its 23rd season in 2023.

Blake Shelton is leaving The Voice
If that wasn’t enough news, there’s more. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Blake Shelton announced that he’s leaving The Voice. The country singer and fan favorite revealed that he made the toughest decision in his life. He’s been toying with this idea for the past few years.
On Tuesday, Blake took to Instagram to share the shocking news with fans. The iconic singer announced that he’s leaving the show after Season 23. Blake is appreciative of what the show has done for his life. However, he feels he needs to re-evaluate his priorities.

“I’ve been wrestling with this idea for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after next season,” Blake wrote. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me.”
Of course, he credited the show for bringing his friend Carson Daly into his life as well as his wife Gwen Stefani. In his lengthy statement, Blake thanked the cast and crew for their hard work. He shared that a lot goes on behind the scenes “to pull off a live show twice a week.” This was the news that sent The Voice fandom into a tailspin.
The Voice fans threaten the end of the show
The Voice fans took to the comment section of Blake’s Instagram post to react. Most of them were disappointed. Some were promising to boycott the series, while others think it was the end of the show. Blake has been part of The Voice since its premiere in 2011.
- “When you go the fans will go. It won’t be the same. You’re the best coach ever.”
- “And I will no longer be watching once you leave. You made the Blake.”
- “No sense watching it now, won’t be funny anymore!!”
- “Well, there goes The Voice. It won’t make it two seasons after Blake leaves.”
