‘Today’ Hoda Kotb Has Hygiene Problem On Air

Hoda Kotb admitted that she had a hygiene problem. This took place during a live broadcast of the Today Show. She had to stop her segment to sort out her personal issue. Why did Hoda Kotb stop a segment?

On the latest broadcast of Today, Hoda Kotb stopped the programming. She talked to her co-host Jenna Bush Hager about decorating your home for the fall. Hoda stopped briefly to notice something in Jenna’s teeth. She motioned against her teeth to show Jenna that she has something there.

“Go l ike this big time,” Hoda Kotb said.

Jenna fired back: “You have something too.”

Suddenly, both ladies were furiously rubbing at their teeth. Hoda called out Jenna for not saying anything. Jenna said it’s hidden in her gums. She got up from her seat and rubbed her hand across Hoda’s teeth.

Jenna was frustrated. She wondered why they always had something stuck in their teeth. Little did they know that this move grossed out the audience at home. Hoda exclaimed that they’re nothing “like those girls” who have picture-perfect teeth.

“I like you said, ‘Go like this, big time.’ Jeez!” Jenna said.

Both of them had a good laugh about the awkward blunder. They went back to the conversation about autumnal colors. Jenna noted that yellow and orange are happy colors that can put people in a good mood. She admitted that she loves decorating for the season. Both hosts discussed their favorite decorations.

In another broadcast of the Today Show, Jenna and Hoda Kotb were wiping their tears. Both ladies discussed their journeys to motherhood. On Thursday, October 6, the third hour of Today showed the co-hosts talking about Hilary Swank’s pregnancy news. They couldn’t help but think of their own lives as mothers.

Hoda Kotb noted that “it’s so funny about when it’s time when is the right time to do it.” She admits that she used to be a planner. However, she had no idea when she would want kids. Jenna said that she would envision herself becoming a mom when she was younger.

“I think I always assumed so I didn’t plan for it,” Hoda Kotb explained. “I just knew that was part of me. I don’t know that I thought, ‘well, I better hurry.’ I just always assumed it was happening, until one day I looked at my life and realized.”

Hoda explained that she had to make peace with herself as she navigated her career and health issues. Both Jenna and Hoda broke down in tears. They couldn’t help but get emotional when thinking about their maternal feelings. At one point, they stopped the segment to get tissues and wipe their eyes.
