‘My 600-Lb. Life’ 2022 Update: Where Is Lupe Samano Now?
Like many other My 600-Lb. Life guests, Lupe Samano was not at all in very good health when her episode began. She couldn’t leave her bed and used oxygen throughout the day. But on top of that, she was really suffering from depression and couldn’t motivate herself either. It was clear that something in her life needed to change.
During her time on the show, the Season 3 guest managed to lose nearly 300 lbs. This is definitely a significant loss! But where is Lupe in 2022? Fans are curious to learn more about her whereabouts.
Lupe Samano remains a little elusive as of 2022
During her Season 3 episode, Lupe Samano took a major step when she realized that she needed to get help. Weight loss journeys are never easy — especially when the bariatric physician lives all the way in Houston. But even so, Lupe gathered her strength and went to pay Dr. Now a visit.
She made remarkable progress during her time in Dr. Now’s program, even though factors in her life made it challenging. At one point, she realized her husband had been unfaithful to her. But somehow, Lupe managed to keep going and push toward her goals anyway.
Check out a clip of Lupe’s journey here:
While Lupe Samano does appear to have some social media profiles, the TLC personality also values her privacy. They’re locked down and not visible to the public. As such, it’s pretty hard to know exactly how her life is going in 2022. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Lupe was down to about 220 lbs as of 2019. Hopefully, Lupe managed to stick to her goals over the past three years and continues to make strong progress.
Dr. Now hypes fans up for an upcoming season of My 600-Lb. Life
Lupe Samano may be eager to stay out of the spotlight, but there will be plenty of more content to share regarding My 600-Lb. Life.
Although the My 600-Lb. Life production crew has seen its share of lawsuits over the years, it does seem as if it will return for Season 11 this year. Over the summer, many viewers speculated that TLC actually canceled the show due to the mounting lawsuits. However, it seems as if the show is moving on as if nothing happened. Dr. Now is in his late 70s at this point but is still determined to treat patients.
Fans that want to keep up with Dr. Now in the meantime can follow him on his Instagram page or even book a Cameo with him.
