‘7 Little Johnstons’ Fans Find Flaw In Amber Johnston’s Parenting
7 Little Johnstons fans have noticed a major flaw in the way that TLC star Amber Johnston raises her kids. One of her recent statements shocked fans and brought the issue to light. Keep reading for all of the details.
Recently, fans have been critical of Amber and her actions. On social media, fans are discussing the possibility of Amber and Trent only being on the show for the money. Others think the show is getting boring and wonder how much longer the show will go on. Some believe it’s time for TLC to pull the plug.
But one of Amber’s recent moves on TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons has left fans in disbelief.
Amber Johnston opens up about her concerns for her kids
In a recent episode of the show, Amber explained why she believes her kids should date little people. This was prompted by Anna saying she might want to date someone of average height.
While shopping with Anna and Emma Johnston, the mom said that her kids would have a chance to meet more little people at the Little People of America Conference. She pointed out that they share common interests.
In a confessional, the 7 Little Johnstons mom said, “A lot of times, more times than not, the average size person that is dating a little person, is more for the novelty. So, that is what I don’t want my children to find.”
7 Little Johnstons fans call out the inconsistencies
While some fans appreciate Amber’s concern, others rushed to Reddit to point out an issue they noticed. Amber wants Emma and Anna to consider dating little people. However, she doesn’t seem to have this concern for all of her kids.
If you watch the show, you know that Liz Johnston is dating an average size person, Brice Bolden. Things are pretty serious between these two, and fans noticed that Amber doesn’t have the same concerns for Liz that she does for Anna and Emma.
On Reddit, a fan started the conversation and said, “She does realize Liz is dating an average size person right?!??” Another 7 Little Johnstons viewer added, “Liz can do no wrong in Amber’s eyes smh.”
Yet another chimed in and said, “I don’t remember all this push back when Liz started dating an average sized guy.”
Others pointed out Amber’s “hypocritical” words and actions.

In case you haven’t noticed Amber is very concerned about all of her children and their future. She is ok with Liz dating an average size person because they have had a chance to meet him and got a chance to get to know him while Liz was living at home. They know he is a good person. Anna isn’t living at home and is an adult and hasn’t had dating experience. There are some average size people that could possibly be abusive towards little people.
She knows her children better than anyone else and only wants the best for them. Never judge a parent until you have all the facts. It’s too bad you can’t be more supportive and keep your nose out of everyone’s business.
Amber clearly fabors Liz and Liz favors Liz. Amber is horrible to Anna. Amber clearly has control issues and complaing to Liz about Anna is so wrong. Grow up Amber, and watch back the episodes how you look at Anna. I see jealousy from you…SMH
Well I think Amber is just trying to be realistic. Bc in all honesty alot of big ppl do think short ppl are a novelty but I think she should let the kids decide on their own wwho they want to be with. I love the Johnstons. The real problem I have is Trent and Amber are running the lives of the ones that have moved out. These kids are buying their own homes and Amber and Trent are telling them who can live with them. I just think they are to much in their lives. The 7 little Johnstins are my favorite little ppl show
