A new 7 Little Johnstons preview drops.

On Tuesday, before the new episode of 7 Little Johnstons premiered on TLC, the network released a preview on YouTube.

In the preview, Amber is taking two of her daughters, Emma and Anna Johnston, to an arts and crafts supplies store. They’re getting ready for the Little People of America National Conference and the girls also need supplies for their jewelry businesses.

As the ladies shop together, they discuss the topic of dating and Anna explains to her mom and sister that she’s looking for a certain type of man. When Amber Johnston points out the fact that the people at the conference have “common interests,” Anna admits that she may not want to date a little person.

Both Amber and Emma seem taken aback by this. Then, Anna goes on to say that she’s tried dating little people in the past and that she’s just giving up on it. Emma chimes in and says, “There’s just not a lot of ’em out there, too.”

Amber Johnston brings awareness to her fears.

In a confessional in the clip, Amber says, “A lot of times, more times than not, the average size person that is dating a little person, is more for the novelty. So, that is what I don’t want my children to find.”

It sounds like Amber Johnston is afraid that her kids will run into these situations if they start dating people who are of average height. She goes on to encourage Anna to meet all of the new people at the conference. She notes that the hotel is already sold out. So, many people will be there.

In another confessional, Amber says that she doesn’t want her kids to be seen as little people. She wants their partners to love them for who they are.
