Trace Bates & Lydia Romeike Tie The Knot
In case you missed the news, you should know that Trace Bates married Lydia Romeike on Saturday. The wedding took place outdoors in Tennessee and the reception afterward was indoors. Most of the Bates family was able to attend the joyous occasion.
Throughout the week, the Bringing Up Bates family has been sharing posts from the wedding. Though fans are enjoying all of the beautiful photos, the family’s wedding attire is being criticized online.

On Reddit, fans and critics brought up the fact that several Bates family members seemed to be dressed awfully casually for the occasion. They feel that their outfits are all over the place with a few people dressed up with others in jeans and casual sweaters.
One Reddit user, u/Sufficient_Leader_10 made a collage of several Bringing Up Bates family members’ outfits. You can check out the collage below. Some of the men wore jeans, while Nathan Bates can be seen in a zip-up sweater.
One fan said, “I just can’t get over how differently the guys are all dressed. You’ve got Brandon in a full suit and then Evan who wouldn’t look out of place doing some shopping at Target, and everything in between.”
Another Bringing Up Bates fan said, “I’m not a formal person, but the guys look like they stopped by on the way to Home Depot.”
Another Reddit user said, “I feel like none of the couples are really matching or have a cohesive look.” Some fans speculate that there was a miscommunication with the dress code.

On Reddit, fans are pointing out that they have seen pictures of John wearing suits to church, and they aren’t sure why he would wear something as casual as jeans to a wedding if he owns multiple suits.
