‘Alaskan Bush People’ Bear Brown’s Legal Update
Alaskan Bush People returns this weekend to Discovery Channel. Much of what the first trailer showed are things that have happened over the last year. A Discovery release indicated that this will show what has happened to the family since father Billy Brown died.
One of the biggest things in the trailer that everyone already knew about was the wedding between Bear Brown and Raiven Adams. A wedding shot was in the trailer, so fans will get to see their big day. However, will they get to see what happened one month later when Bear Brown was arrested for domestic violence?
Bear Brown’s legal woes
Bear Brown took his dad’s death tough in 2021, but he did something to make his life better in the long run. After a long on-again/off-again relationship with Raiven Adams, he finally asked her to marry him. This came after they already had one child, River and Raiven then suffered through a miscarriage with their second baby.
However, Raiven said yes and the two ended up getting married in January 2022. Fans saw a lot about the wedding on social media, as the family (sans Matt Brown) was in attendance at the beautiful ceremony. As the new trailer for Alaskan Bush People showed, the wedding will play a big role in this season of the show. However, just one month after the wedding, things looked like they were falling apart.
In February 2022, police arrested Bear Brown on charges of domestic abuse. Raiven said at the time in police reports that Bear physically assaulted her, but Bear denied everything and said it was an accident while he was trying to get her phone. Whatever happened, Bear spent a weekend in jail and had a no-contact order placed against him from seeing Raiven and River.
After Bear got out of jail, Raiven asked for the no-contact order to be lifted and a judge agreed. Bear went back home. Based on her due date, Raiven Brown ended up pregnant within the next couple of weeks with their rainbow baby.
What is going on with Bear Brown legally heading into Alaskan Bush People season?
With all those problems, the fact is that Bear Brown still has to deal with the arrest in court. According to TMZ back in May, Bear Brown could get all assault charges dropped if he follows a specific set of rules. Bear had to pay $270 in court fees. He also had to remove all firearms from his premises. Finally, he had to not violate any further laws, or commit any violence or harassment to any other person.
Bear has to stay on the straight and narrow until November when his next hearing date is. If he does this, the courts will clear Bear Brown of all charges.

this guy is a nut case, and dangerous, likes punching things, rolling around in the dirt like a little child, killing wild animals, you have only got to look at him to see that he is not all there, he should be locked up where he can do no harm.
I disagree with the previous comment ! I like Bear , he has a lot of energy , and I honestly don’t think he would hurt anyone .
