Hoda Kotb admitted that she’s struggling with her day job. It’s not because of her many ventures. She shared with her fans that her two kids were keeping her up all night long. It makes it hard for her to work early in the morning.

The new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the Today Show feature Hoda Kotb yawning. She laughed as she couldn’t keep her eyes open. Holly Palmier Schulz shared the photos via her Instagram Stories. Hoda shares two daughters, Haley and Hope, with her former fiance Joel Schiffman.

During the interview for Today’s Sirius XM Show, Holly asked Hoda what she does when her “kids keep her up all night.” She admits that it happens a lot. Hoda finds it amusing what her kids will do and say to skip bedtime. They come up with excuses like, “I love you so much I can’t sleep” or “I don’t like school lunches, so I don’t wanna go.”

Her co-host Savannah Guthrie was asked the same question. She revealed that she needs a moment of “zen” before dealing with her children. Savannah will lock her door to let them know that mommy needs her privacy. However, it doesn’t last for long.

Savannah shares daughter Vale and son Charles with her husband, Michael Feldman. She spent time with them during the last weeks of August. Her prolonged break from the Today Show had fans wondering if it meant that she was leaving the show. During that same interview, both co-hosts also revealed that they FaceTime their kids during the commercial breaks.

In August 2022, Hoda Kotb and her daughters were featured on the cover of People’s Family Issue. She thanked the publication for featuring their family. In her cover story, Hoda talked about family life after her split from Joel. The two are navigating their co-parenting relationship as adopted parents.

She had no idea that she would become a mother one day. She admitted that she found “bliss” through adoption. Hoda Kotb is also grateful for their former relationship since they now “share these beautiful daughters.” She also shared the details of their early morning routines, even after they’ve been up all night.

“Every morning I leave them a note and a map to find the note. I draw cartoons, and then I hide it so they see it before they go to school,” Hoda Kotb told People. “Then a lot of the time I’m done with work and can pick them up in the afternoon.”
