However, it seems like Selma took a tumble at some point while they were practicing the new routine. Since she has MS, many fans were immediately concerned to learn about her injury.

Sasha posted a video to his Instagram stories and asked Selma to show fans her bruise. She removed a bandage from her upper thigh to reveal a nasty dark bruise about the size of an orange.

Neither Sasha nor Selma said exactly how the injury happened. It’s possible they might discuss it during the new episode. Either way, fans just hope that Selma Blair recovers in time to perform this Monday night.

More disaster strikes behind the scenes

Selma Blair’s injury is bad enough, but it seems like there’s also a COVID-19 outbreak on the set of Dancing With The Stars. A spokesman for the show allegedly confirmed the outbreak to Deadline but also said that it was largely contained.

“Contact tracing was immediately conducted. All close contacts were notified and put on an increased testing cadence. No close contact of the four positive production employees has since tested positive,” the spokesperson allegedly said to Deadline.

There were other precautions being taken, such as asking many crew members to work remotely if possible. Everyone remembers when Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby had COVID-19 midseason last year. That’s probably a situation the show is trying to prevent.
