One fan asked for his advice when dealing with “rough times.” Jonathan Goodwin shared a throwback photo from his hospital bed. He advised the fan to focus on the present moment and not dwell on the past. Jonathan also told the fan to not be afraid to ask for help.

“Stay in the moment. Try not to project the future or concern yourself with the past,” Jonathan Goodwin wrote. “Take every day, every hour, every minute as it comes. Ask for help if you need it.”

AGT could face federal violations

In May 2022, it was reported that America’s Got Talent could face several federal violations from OSHA over what happened to Jonathan Goodwin. The organization reached the end of its investigation into his accident. On Friday, May 13, they determined the following:

“OSHA has completed the investigation into this horrific incident involving Marathon Productions, Inc. and issued a citation on April 13, 2022 for two Serious violations.”

The incident took place during the rehearsals of AGT: Extreme in October 2021. OSHA found that safety measures weren’t put into place on the set of the show. They placed the blame on production for failing to provide a surface of “four feet or more above a lower level” to prevent the fall from happening. This could’ve prevented Jonathan Goodwin from ending up paralyzed.
