‘DWTS’ Season 31: Who Went Home After Night One?
DWTS Season 31 just finished its first episode of the season. The night was full of many exciting performances, but sadly one contestant had to leave the competition at the end.
So who exactly went home? Keep reading to find out more.
DWTS Season 31 already said goodbye to one competing couple
All summer long, Dancing With The Stars fans couldn’t wait to learn more about this year’s contestants. On September 8, Good Morning America unveiled the entire cast list. There were some surprises, including the return of fan-favorite pro, Mark Ballas.
Additionally, actress Selma Blair and her partner Sasha Farber went above and beyond to deliver a magnificent performance. Many viewers were concerned about how well she would perform with her health issues but were pleasantly surprised to see her perform so well.
But at the end of the night, one hardworking celebrity contestant and their pro partner had to say goodbye. Sadly, actor Jason Lewis and Peta Murgatroyd were the ones eliminated.
It was definitely a major disappointment for the pair. Jason Lewis said he joined the show after his fiancee urged him to compete. And Peta Murgatroyd had a really rough year. She credited DWTS with helping her heal after several heartbreaking losses in her personal life.
Are you sad that Jason Lewis and Peta Murgatroyd went home? Who did you vote for? Be sure to let everyone know what you think in the comments. Fans definitely have a wide variety of opinions on DWTS Season 31, so don’t be afraid to share what you think.
Can fans rewatch the episode now that it’s over?
Many Dancing With The Stars fans were hoping to watch the performances on YouTube after the episode ended. However, it doesn’t seem like that will happen this year. Now that DWTS Season 31 is on a paid streaming service, it doesn’t appear that the exec team is willing to give content away for free.
Disney+ subscribers will be able to rewatch the episode as many times as they please. Although this season is a live stream, Disney+ subscribers have unlimited access to it. This move is incredibly aggravating to many viewers who enjoyed the show for years for free on ABC.
However, Canadian fans can vote this year, which is a very pleasant change for DWTS Season 31.
If you want to catch the next exciting episode, tune into Disney+ next Monday night at 8 PM eastern time. Next Monday night is Elvis night and the remaining contestants are hard at work on their routines.
