A preview of his latest work will be available in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on September 21, 2022. Naoshi’s career as a manga artist started with his debut manga series A School Frozen In Time. Your Lie In April Is The Most Popular Manga By Naoshi Arakawa
Later on, he wrote a sequel for the manga, Farewell, My Dear Cramer released in the year 2016. This manga series also received an anime adaptation that aired in 2021. However, Your Lie In April, also known as Shigatsy wa Kimi no Uso, is his most popular creation to date. As per CBR.com, it was originally a one-shot that he submitted to a competition.

In 2011, the one-shot attained the status of a music drama series that also won the 37th Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shonen Manga in 2013. Arakawa also contributed as an illustrator for Your Lie In April: A Six Person Etude with Yui Tokiumi as the writer. This light-novel spin-off retold the original series through six different perspectives. Also, in 2016, the series spinoff, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso: Coda received publication following the tankobon format.
What Is Your Lie In April’s Story About?
Your Lie In April is a story about a boy, Kosei Arima, who is a piano prodigy. However, he hasn’t touched the piano in a few years after his mother’s death. His world turns 360 degrees after he meets Kaori Miyazono, a free-spirited violinist. He doesn’t play music in sync with the scores.

This is something in contrast to what Kosei does with music, given how he is a perfectionist. As they spend time together, Kosei slowly falls back in love with his passion for music. He also starts developing some feelings for Kaori.
