Kim Kardashian Admits Her Plan For Love Needs Work
Kim Kardashian just got out of her relationship with Pete Davidson in early August. Yet it appears that she is still open to looking for love. During an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, the reality star opened up about her love life. However, it is seemingly not panning out the way she had anticipated. Read on for more about what she had to say about her search and how she is faring thus far.
Kim Kardashian’s Search For Love Is A Bust
After nine months together, Kim and SNL-alum Pete Davidson called it quits. It appears that he was the one who ended it as she shared a sad breakup song on her Instagram shortly after. However, distance and busy work schedules have also been rumored factors. Plus, it was alleged that Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner pushed Pete to propose. In any case, Kim has had to move on and she talked about it with James Corden. According to Entertainment Tonight, Kim did confirm, during her appearance, that she is single.
Of course, James was quite curious as to how someone like Kim looks for love. “I haven’t really thought about it because I’m not looking. I just want to chill for a minute,” Kim shared. She then added: “I think I need some time to myself to just focus, finish school, all that. But I think my next route, I feel like I have to do something, go to different places. Clearly it’s not working, whatever I’m doing.” At this point, Kim has been married three times and really had high hopes for her relationship with Pete so it makes sense she feels a tad leery.
However, she did make a point to say that her next love would hopefully be out of the limelight. She said: “I think it’s going to be, like, scientist, neuroscientist, biochemist, doctor, attorney.” Kim is in law school so these options would more than make sense and be a stark contrast from what she has been with before.
Lost Loves
Yes, Kim Kardashian has not had the best luck in relationships. When she was still a teenager, she married Damon Thomas though it was kept very quiet. She was infamously linked with Ray J for some time which still haunts her to this day. Kim had a long-term relationship with football player Reggie Bush, who was featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She eventually fell for Kris Humphries and the two had a lavish wedding. Unfortunately, it only lasted 72-days before it was over.
She seemed to find her sole mate in rapper and mogul Kanye West with whom she had four babies. Sadly, after another lavish wedding, the marriage just could not survive. She then had to find out who she was, once again, without him and she thought she did with Pete. They had some great times and it looked like fans would see their romance on Season 2 of The Kardashians. Strangely, it appears that Kim may have edited Pete out of the trailers for the upcoming season. Guess everyone will have to wait and see if he pops up when it premieres September 22 on Hulu.
