‘1923’: New Generation Are Part Of ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff
Taylor Sheridan is getting ready to share another piece of the Dutton family puzzle with his latest Yellowstone spinoff, 1923. Who are John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) ancestors?
We got the OG story with 1883, what do we know about the next generation of Duttons who battled some of the worst events in the twentieth century?
This new limited series stars two Hollywood heavyweights: Harrison Ford (Star Wars, Raiders Of The Lost Ark), and Helen Mirren (The Queen, Catherine The Great). What roles are they playing, and who else is in this new series?

What Do We Know About Yellowstone 1923?
First of all, the original name of the series was 1932. However, that name has been changed. That is because they now want to start after World War 1, and the series will include prohibition. The plan for this limited series is to include the other devastating historical incidents of this era, including the Great Depression, and a historic drought.
According to Deadline, we also have information on more cast and the roles they play.
First, Harrison Ford will portray Jacob Dutton. He is James Dutton’s brother, married to Cara, and is the ranch’s patriarch. Next, Helen Mirren is Cara Dutton. She is the family matriarch and Jacob’s wife.
Next, we have some of the new Yellowstone prequel cast. That has been announced, as well as their roles.
Darren Mann (Animal Kingdom) is portraying Jack Dutton. He is John Dutton Sr.’s son and Jacob Dutton’s great-nephew. Jack is dedicated to his family and the ranch.
Another new actor added is James Badge Dale (Hightown), who will portray John Dutton Sr., Jacob Dutton’s right-hand man, and oldest nephew.
In addition, Marly Shelton (Scream) plays Emma Dutton. Emma is Jack Dutton’s mother and John Dutton’s dutiful wife.
Michael Randolph (A Snow White Christmas) is portraying Elizabeth Stafford. This wild creature is set to marry into the Dutton clan.
Brian Geraghty (Big Sky) is playing Zane, the Dutton’s loyal foreman.
Aminah Nieves (Blueberry) is portraying Teonna Rainwater. Teonna is at the government residential boarding school.
Lastly, Julia Schlepper (The Politician) is portraying Alexandra, a British woman who previously met a Dutton who was abroad.

When Will Yellowstone: 1923 Premiere?
The premiere of the Yellowstone spinoff, 1923, will be in December. In addition, they have already begun filming in Butte, Montana. Therefore, there should be more news coming soon, including the official Paramount+ premiere date.
Two Yellowstone Series Airing Simultaneously
What is interesting about this premiere is that it is likely that Yellowstone Season 5 will be airing during some of this period of time.
