Queen Elizabeth II has been confirmed dead at the age of 96 by BBC News. News broke earlier today that the Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms was under medical supervision because of health concerns. She reportedly passed away in the comfort of her own home in Balmoral Castle, in Scotland with some of her family members at her bedside and others rushing to be there.

According to the BBC, Queen Elizabeth II is dead at the age of 96. On Thursday, there was a growing concern about the Queen’s health. Therefore, members of the royal family congregated to Balmoral. This includes Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry.
The Queen ascended to the throne in 1952, after her father, George VI, died. She was only 25.
