Carlin Bates Spends Another Day At Hospital, Updates Fans
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart has been in and out of the hospital amid her health issues. This week, she spent another day at the hospital and had tests run. Afterward, she gave fans updates about her health and revealed how she’s doing now. Keep reading for all of the details.

If you follow Carlin on Instagram or watch her YouTube videos, you may know that she’s dealing with seizure-like episodes. This all began shortly after she welcomed her son, Zade, to the world this spring. Since this started, she has spent many hours at the hospital and at doctors’ appointments. She’s undergone many tests and is currently on anti-seizure medication.
At this point, she’s still waiting for answers. Due to these episodes, Carlin Bates’ husband, Evan Stewart, lost his job and must stay with her at all times.
How is she doing after another day at the hospital?
On Tuesday, on social media, Carlin Bates revealed that she went back to the hospital to have more tests done. After her appointment, she didn’t give fans an update. But when she hosted a little Q&A session on Instagram on Wednesday, she received several questions about her health and her latest tests.
It looks like many fans sent in questions about how Carlin’s tests and appointments went. She answered three similar questions and shared several pieces of new information.
Carlin Bates wrote, “This has definitely been a pretty emotional season for me. It’s not always easy to talk about that side of it.” She also thanked her followers for the prayers and encouragement.
One of Carlin’s tests was a stress test. She explained, “I passed out on the recovery lap of my stress test. Still not sure if the test was conclusive because my nurse caught me which messed with the cords that I was hooked up to. Thankful she was there and I didn’t hit my head though.”
Carlin Bates had three tests and is awaiting answers now.
In another response, Carlin promised to keep fans updated as soon as she finds out anything else. It sounds like fans are very concerned, though.
