Anna Navarro missing from the Season26 premiere
The View is finally back after its hiatus. The ABC daytime talk show returned Tuesday morning after its break. However, fans noticed that Ana Navarro was nowhere to be found. She was supposed to make her big debut as a full-time permanent host.
Some of the viewers took to Twitter to react. They were nervous that Ana bowed out of the talk show. She is one of the two conservative commentators at the table. The other is Alyssa Farah Griffin, who made an appearance on Tuesday’s broadcast.
“Where is Ana today!” one fan asked. “Where is Ana?” another chimed in.
“Ana said she would only be there two days a week and to fill in – Mondays and Fridays,” one fan responded.
A third one added: “She’s part-time.” Over the summer, The View announced that both Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro would join the panel. The show admitted that it was “long overdue” to have the latter on the show. Fans have been wanting Ana to be a permanent part of the panel.
The View co-host is missing for this reason
Ana Navarro was missing because she had another job. She’s still a CNN analyst and she resides in Miami, which makes her new commute difficult. Despite taking on the new gig, she won’t exactly be full-time. This makes her a part-time panelist as best.
The View explained that Ana has “other work commitments.” She will appear on Mondays and Fridays, and she will fill in for Whoopi and Joy when they take those days off. While most fans are happy with Ana Navarro’s latest move, most haven’t said the same about Alyssa. They’re threatening to stop watching The View because of her.
“I will stop watching The View if former Trumper, Alyssa Farah Griffin is hired!” one fan tweeted at the time of the announcement.
“They should reconsider… or many of us simply will not watch the show anymore,” another wrote.

I love Ana, she is refreshing, honest ,and has a different slant on things. She should be full time for sure!
Keep her on part time and a lot of us will be happy don’t watch the view when she is on
