Corey Phelps flaunts his dramatic transformation on social media
Corey Phelps easily became a fan favorite on Too Large. Fans found his crush on Dr. Proctor hilarious, especially after Corey labeled him a “daddy.”
Corey weighed well over 600 lbs and was desperately searching for a way to get his health on the right track during his time on Too Large. On the show, fans also watched him explore dating and relationships as a heavy gay man. They fell in love with his larger-than-life personality and attitude.
For a few years now, fans continued to cheer Corey on as he shared progress updates. Since leaving Too Large, Corey has become almost an entirely different person. And he’s quite excited to show off some new progress photos on his Instagram page.
“It’s the jawline for me 💅 And yes the blonde is gone (but not for long),” Corey captioned his epic transformation post. “I’m not gonna lie, getting my mental health figured out has been the best catalyst for my continued weight loss. Slow & Steady wins the race!”
He uploaded side-by-side photos revealing how much his face has changed in just two years. The transformation is truly amazing!
“Yaaaasssssss 🙌🔥❤️” one follower encouraged the Too Large star.
“Well done…. you were my fave on that show 😍” another added. Overall, fans were really excited that Corey managed to take charge of his mental and physical health. Fans have seen the TLC personality have his highs and lows, but it seems like he’s making remarkable progress.

The Too Large star is determined to make the most out of life
Corey Phelps managed to lose a significant amount of weight, but that’s not the only thing he’s accomplished in the past two years.
“Today is my 31st birthday and I still can’t believe that I graduated,” the TLC star shared on Instagram back in July. “I remember sitting in my car, the first night I was homeless, sobbing uncontrollably, telling myself this wasn’t how my story would end. Five years later and I am excited for what comes next, and beyond grateful for all I have accomplished. Can you believe this transformation! 🥰”
He attached a photo of himself proudly holding up a diploma too.
