Katie Maloney reportedly wanted Raquel Leviss to date Tom Schwartz. She was on board with the idea, at first. This revelation comes amid the rumors of their steamy hookup at Scheana Shay’s wedding. Raquel and Schwartz allegedly “made out and more” during the weekend festivities that took place late last month.

Reports claimed that Katie was “annoyed” over the connection they made. She felt betrayed by what happened. The Bravo star also blames Scheana for what happened.

A production source told Page Six that Raquel Leviss and Tom Schwartz “100% hooked up” at Scheana’s wedding. Katie Maloney was upset with Scheana for their hookup. She believes that her frenemy was behind it. This could be the reason why Katie skipped the ceremony and went on a girls’ trip with her friends while in Cancun.

She made good use of the resort before she left home. However, Brock Davies tells a different story. He claimed that Katie was “disinvited” from the event. Katie called out his “untruths” but didn’t share what really happened. The drama will play out in Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, which is currently in production.

That same insider also spilled the tea on Schwartz and Raquel. They claimed that the duo is “super easygoing,” but “can be a bit passive” at times. It’s unclear whether they acted this way towards Katie Maloney or with one another. Schwartz’s estranged wife has a feeling that Scheana pushed for the two to be together.

They decided to “explore a connection.” Katie is “very annoyed over the situation.” She didn’t think Schwartz would actually date someone within their friend group. Even if she was into the idea at first.

Another insider told Page Six that it was Katie Maloney’s idea for Schwartz and Raquel to date. She wanted them to go for it. At the time, they didn’t date out of respect for Katie. Now that Scheana encouraged them to date, Katie is fuming with Scheana for how it happened.

“She planted the seed,” the insider told Page Six. “Katie initially put the idea out there. She told Scheana, ‘They’d be really cute together.’ Scheana simply relayed the message later on to Raquel: ‘Katie thinks that you and Schwartz would make a really good match and gave her blessing.'”
