‘Good Bones’ Spinoff Arriving Soon On HGTV & Discovery+
HGTV’s Good Bones series is getting a spin-off series that follows Mina Starsiak Hawk as she takes on the ultimate challenge of transforming a Victorian-style property into a B&B and event center. While the original series featured the renovation of six houses, the spin-off will have a total of six episodes dedicated to one house.
Good Bones Star Mina Takes On The Riskiest Renovation Challenge
As per HGTV’s official press release, the show brings in the riskiest renovation challenge of Hawk’s career. The series follows the renovation of a property that is more than a century old. This is the biggest project yet taken on by host Mina in terms of restoration requirements, budget, and size.

Talking about the new spin-off series, Good Bones: Risky Business, the business’ official Instagram account shared the details of the show. With two pictures of Hawk standing by the property, the post read,
“STOP YOUR SCROLL. Have you been waiting for the spin-off series that we’ve been hinting at for months? It’s finally here! Good Bones: Risky Business premieres Tuesday, September 6th at 9 PM ET on HGTV and discovery+.”
Mina Starsiak Will Work On A 7000-Square-Foot Victorian Property
The note also provided additional details about the property, “Mina is taking on the biggest, riskiest renovation of her career and going solo on the purchase of the historic Sanders House in Good Bones: Risky Business. More than a century old, the 7,000-square-foot property—which includes the main home and a carriage house—will be the largest project Mina has ever tackled in terms of size and budget and will require precise restoration to return it to its former glory.”

Good Bones stars the mother-daughter duo, Karen E. Laine & Mina Starsiak Hawk that owns a home rehab business, called Two Chicks and a Hammer, Inc. While Karen used to work as a defense attorney, her daughter Mina worked as a part-time waitress. As per Meaww, the duo started flipping houses in their free time in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis. Back in 2008, they decided to take it full-time and open up their own business.
Where Can You Watch Good Bones Spin-Off?
Their signature style includes creating green spaces wherever possible & incorporating work by local craftsmen and artists to bring a personal touch to the renovated homes. The show Good Bones’ pilot episode aired on March 22, 2016, and ever since, the show has had a successful run with 6 seasons. In 2021, HGTV ordered the renewal of the show for a seventh season along with this spinoff.
